The holiday season has come and gone. I am a little sad. I feel like I didn’t get to enjoy this season like I did last year. I was to post this holiday session before Christmas but gift buying, holiday parties, and illness kept me from doing so. I apologize now for the influx of blogs. I need to post them before 2015. Eek!
I have always wanted to shoot a Christmas session and I finally found the right girl for the mood I was going for. I styled all the clothing looks and directed the hair and makeup. I adore her look. Give me a classic red lip any day! I found that cute Joy sign almost 2 months before the session and I knew it was on. 🙂
As I sit here with my glass of wine, I am looking over my images of 2014 and I realize how much I have grown as an artist. There are several things that I still need to learn but I have so many favorites. You may see them in the next few days as I blog out my remainder sessions.
I am wishing that 2015 is a big year for Poetic Edge. I have several sessions waiting for me including a senior session and a wedding. I rarely do weddings these days but I love the bride dearly and can’t wait to see her as a bride. She will make a beautiful one.
I have several other unique shoot ideas that I hope to plan and I know that there are more models out there that I still haven’t shot yet.
If you are a senior of the 2015 class, I am booking now. I also have room for contemporary portrait sessions and head shots. I hope to work with you! Let’s make 2015 awesome!
