Giving isn’t just for the holidays. For those who know me, I am a giver. It is the core of my being. At one time in my life, I attended a bible school so I could travel to places such as Haiti and Africa to do humanitarian aid. I spent a good part of my 20s traveling to the mountains of Virginia to help the less fortunate, Atlanta to clothe the youth, and volunteered after school feeding the homeless in Charlotte. I even made it to Haiti where I shed a good portion of my personal belongings right there in an orphanage. Every fiber of my being hates to see people suffering.

I found out about Headbands of Hope from one of my lovely models. She couldn’t say enough good things about Jessica and the company. Jessica founded the company in 2012 with the hope to make every little girl who loses her hair to chemo feel beautiful. HOH even has a collection of buffs for the guys. With every headband purchase, one is given to a child with cancer and $1 is donated to a childhood cancer organization of your choice. HOH has been featured on, Vanity Fair, Seventeen, InStyle, Self, Lucky, and many others.

I was able to photograph their new Diamond collection in November.  The setting was the Charlotte NC skyline and the direction was uptown girl. We had three gorgeous models: Addyson, Alexandria, Lauren, and Adaire.

These headbands are perfect for all of your glamorous events such as prom or a night on the town. Go to the Headbands website to see more styles and to get involved.
